The Washington Balalaika Society has a new musician

Great news for the Wasington Balalaika Society Orchestra (WBS) and all American music lovers!
The orchestra has a new musician who has recently moved from Moscow to the Washington area.
Peter Omelchenko, until recently a member of Moscow’s Osipov balalaika orchestra, is a domra virtuoso, arranger, and composer. In 2015-2016 he was a featured guest artist and conducted the Washington Balalaika Society.
